Ricky’s is a family restaurant chain based out of Vancouver Canada. At the time the Adwiz was called to help with branding and marketing, the chain had over 50 locations. It was known for a simple, affordable menu selection. While it had grown into a successful chain, the visual design of the brand, from the facilities themselves to the menus and marketing, was stuck in the 1950’s while competing brands were moving forward with fresh design. We decided to create an upscale diner look called Ricky’s All Day Grill. Restaurant interiors were modernized and we dramatically improved the menus and other marketing collateral. Over the next three years, sales grew an average of 21% throughout the chain.
