Ad of the Week July 13, 2015
Anti-smoking ads are pretty common these days so it’s hard to find one that stands out as being exceptional. This one, by Brancozulu in Brazil for World No Tobacco Day 2015, caught my attention by focusing on a specific fact about cigarettes and making the point very clear. It says “In Brazil, around 350 people die on a daily basis due to cigarette-related diseases. It’s as if you set a building on fire every day.” That’s a strong statement and the graphic ties in well. About the Ad of the Week
Millions of new ads are crafted around the world every day. A handful are worthy of attention. Of those, a small selection are the source of inspiration and insight for others. Adwiz George Pytlik looks for ads with special qualities. These might stand out because of a great concept, art direction, photography, or some other element setting them apart from the others. A new one is posted every week.
